Sometimes it takes returning home to learn about what was always there. I grew up in Oklahoma and had no idea this historic and beautiful bridge even existed. It’s the iconic Pony Bridge of Bridgeport, a nearly mile-long structure that's still active today.

Stripped down to pure light, shadow, and form, this dramatic black and white interpretation transforms the historic structure into a cinematic journey. The deep, dark sky and strong vignette create a tunnel-like effect, forcing the eye down the twin lines of the road as they race toward an unseen horizon. The light wasn't right for a color shot, but the black and white conversion captured the scene's true character.
